Plenty of Chicago Bears fans will be looking for a fresh beer to cry in after Sunday night’s loss.

Goose Island wants to make sure there's no shortage.

“*deep breath* we think we’re finally okay with talking about yesterday’s game,” the Chicago brewery tweeted Monday.

Goose Island said it is planning to build a field goal post in the middle of the street outside its brewery. If an encouraged imbiber can hit the 43-gard field goal, they’ll win a prize—“and eternal glory,” Goose Island said. Initially, the brewery said it planned to offer up a year of free beer, but it turned out such a prize was illegal.

What exactly the replacement prize will be has not yet been announced.

Yes, the beer brand may appear to be capitalizing on the loss, but it also defended embattled Bears kicker Cody Parkey.

“A lot of armchair kickers on here are saying that they could hit that field goal, which we find DOUBTFUL,” it tweeted. “You’re gonna sit there on your throne of potato chips and vape pens and criticize this dude’s athleticism? GET REAL.”

    Oh, and one more thing.

“Also, IT WAS TIPPED,” the beer maker tweeted.

The competition will be held at the Goose Island Taproom at 1800 W. Fulton St.
