It's Raining (Er, Snowing) Sales in Roscoe Village
Winterfest means deals for you and yours at the boutiques on Roscoe.
A little snow doesn't stop us Chicagoans from shopping, does it?
All this snow makes us want to don our winter apparel, stroll under the holiday lights and drink hot cocoa.
Mix in a little shopping, and we’re like a kid on Christmas.
This weekend, Roscoe Village boutiques are hosting their annual Winterfest Stroll, with extended shopping hours at stores like Original Expressions, A Pied Shoe Boutique, Little Threads, Kickin' Maternity, The Denim Lounge, Glam to Go, Roscoe Village Bikes, Cinnamon and more.
From 5 to 9 p.m. on Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday the shops (all between Damen and Oakley on Roscoe) will serve cocktails and appetizers; host live music, and offer wine tastings or trunk shows.
Sales will abound, so why not take a dash through the snow? It all kicks off with a tree lighting at John's Place restaurant on Saturday evening.
