The anticipated redesign of South Loop's Room 21 restaurant is now complete, and the new space comes with a new name and design.

Via Ventuno opens to the public on Tuesday, and focuses on regional Italian cuisine.

The restaurant, located at Wabash and 21st Street, literally translates to "Street 21" in Italian.

Executive Chef Jim Kilberg (Coco Pazzo Café, Bice, Gioco) is the brains behind Via Ventuno's menu, which focuses on regional Italian cuisine with inventive twists.

The 6,000 square foot European garden patio is also still intact, but Kleiner plans to add an organic herb garden and an outdoor oven for baking pizzas.
