One of the most anticipated new rooftop lounges in the city is now open for business.

The J. Parker sits on top of the Hotel Lincoln, the new boutique hotel situated at the corner of Lincoln and Clark.

The 13th-floor lounge seats 52 people indoors and 124 in the outdoor space. It's being dubbed as the only rooftop lounge in the city with unobstructed views of Lake Michigan.

The cocktail menu is designed by mixologist Erin Hayes, and will switch out every three months to feature a different global destination. Mexico, Cuba and Spain are the first three countries on tap for the opening, so expect plenty of drinks featuring tequila, rum, different types of sangria and punch bowls that serve 6-8 guests.

The dining menu features casual dining fare from Paul Virant, who operates Perennial Virant adjacent to the hotel.

The J. Parker marks the BOKA Restaurant Group's first lounge concept.

The name pays homage to John Parker, Abraham Lincoln's bodyguard.

The lounge is open seven days a week until 1 a.m.
