The Sundance Film Festival will be making a stop in Chicago next year.

The independent film festival takes place in Park City, Utah. But for one night, festival officials say films will be played in theaters in nine other cities for its Sunday Film Festival USA initiative.

On Jan. 26 that'll include the Music Box Theatre in Chicago. Other cities are Houston, Orlando, Boston and San Francisco. In each city, filmmakers will screen their film and take questions from the audience.

The festival, which promotes independent filmmaking, will be held Jan. 19-29 in Utah.
