Though he was reluctant to take it in the first place, Rahm Emanuel seems to enjoy his job in Washington.

White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel wants to quell rumors that he's planning a run to become mayor of Chicago -- so much so that he's just come out publicly urging Richard Daley to run again, the Sun-Times' Lynn Sweet reported.

"Mayor Daley is a great mayor for a great city. He has my full support and it is my hope that he will seek re-election," a statement from Emanuel read.

Daley has not yet said whether he will run again in 2011. If he chooses not to, it wouldn't be a shock. He's been Chicago's mayor for 20 years, and his wife Maggie has been battling cancer since 2002.
