Joe Walsh Wants to Join Congressional Orientation

Bean and Walsh are separated by 347 votes

Chicago's suburban Tea Party battle rages on, as the 8th district race for congress has yet to close.

Congressman Melissa Bean wants to keep counting votes and her opponent, Tea Party favorite Joe Walsh, wants to head to Washington already.

Bean is down by 347 votes after gaining three during a weekend count.  But Walsh plans to head to Washington D.C. next week to attend the classes for freshman orientation for new congressmen.   He claimed victory shortly after the election even though the race is considered too close to call.

November 16th the final ballots 1,500 absentee ballots should be counted, as long as they arrive on time.
