"Building a better Illinois for families and businesses"
Updated 4:12 PM CST, Mon, Nov 9, 2009
Republican gubernatorial candidate Bill Brady has worked for years in politics serving as one of the leading voices in the Senate.
According to Brady's campaign site, he advocates less burdensome property taxes, a reform of public pension systems, sexual predator legislation, regulation of the health care industry, alternative energy sources, and retirement security of state employees, university faculty and teachers.
He is working towards improving the state's economy and the lives of Illinois families by promoting a low-tax business climate that is said to create hundreds of thousands of new jobs and an estimated $3 billion in revenue.
Brady graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University, but abandoned plans to attend law school to join his family's struggling home construction business.
