Joe Maddon to Appear on ‘Sunday Night With Megyn Kelly'

Chicago Cubs manager Joe Maddon has long been a big supporter of charitable efforts in his hometown of Hazleton, PA, and his work will be featured on this week’s episode of “Sunday Night With Megyn Kelly.”

Maddon, whose Cubs won the World Series in 2016, has been involved with the Hazleton Integration Project for several years. The project’s goal is to help immigrants in the Hazleton area integrate into the community, and Maddon’s work has helped open a community center and a park in his hometown.

In a teaser video for the segment, Maddon takes in a baseball game at the park where he used to play as a child, and he even bragged a bit about this skills:

In an interview airing on the show, Maddon discussed the discrimination that some immigrants have dealt with in Hazleton, and he talks about how the “HIP” project has sought to bridge the divides between the town’s residents.

The interview will air during this week’s episode of “Sunday Night With Megyn Kelly,” which starts at 6 p.m. on NBC.
