A Halloween celebrator reportedly fell asleep in a taxi and awoke to find her costume pants pulled down and her cab driver sexually assaulting her, prosecutors said.

Tajamul Syed, 23, a reported driver for 303 Taxi, faces a criminal sexual assault charge and was ordered held on $250,000 bail Saturday, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Syed allegedly picked up the woman in the morning hours of Nov. 1 in the 8300 block of West Summerdale Avenue after she spent the night celebrating Halloween with a friend.

The woman fell asleep shortly after her friend helped her into Syed’s cab and awoke to find her pants down and Syed sexually assaulting her, the Tribune reported. The woman pushed him off of her, exited the cab and ran home.

Prosecutors reportedly said the woman and her friend both identified Syed.

Syed, of the 6300 block of North Rockwell Street, was arrested while driving his cab in Evanston Thursday. He is due back in court Tuesday.
