Photo: Schwarber Smashes Windshield With Home Run

If Kyle Schwarber launching a home run on top of the right field video board at Wrigley Field didn’t convince you of his prodigious power (and to not park your car anywhere near where he’s hitting), then we have something else to show you.

On Wednesday, Schwarber was taking batting practice cuts at the Chicago Cubs’ spring training facility in Arizona. On one of his home runs, he launched a baseball deep over the fence and right into a car’s windshield:

It’s still a month and a half from when the Cubs take the field for their first real game against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, but if Schwarber is already hitting with this kind of ferocity, we’re scared to see what he’s capable of doing with a full spring training slate to prepare with.
