Two men robbed McDonald's flagship location Sunday night in west suburban Oak Brook.

But instead of walking inside, they held up the restaurant from their getaway car in the drive-thru.

Police say two men in a gray Toyota 4-Runner stopped in front of the drive-thru window around 10:08 p.m. Sunday at the McDonald's in the 1100 block of West 22nd Street. When the cashier opened the window, the vehicle's passenger pointed a long gun and demanded money.

The men took off with the money and were last seen near the 2200 block of Route 83.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call police.
