Deep Dish Pizza Takes Off at NYC Restaurant

Chalk another one up for Chicago in the great pizza debate with New York.

The hottest new pizza joint in Manhattan doesn't serve the thin slices New York is known for. It's all about Chicago-style deep dish.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Emmett's was opened in November by Lake Forest native Emmett Burke.

The location is so popular with curious New Yorkers, that it can take up to four hours to get a seat on the weekend.

Burke told the newspaper he opened his restaurant the same week Jon Stewart went on his infamous rant against Chicago-style deep dish. And not surprisingly, Stewart hasn't visited.
