The North Texas man accused of trying to fire shots inside a crowded McDonald's restaurant until his gun malfunctioned talks to NBC 5 in a jailhouse interview. Jestin Joseph, who says he did not plan to hurt anyone, said he has been hearing voices and went to the fast food restaurant to steal a car so he could get out of town.

Zac Efron is breaking his silence after since E! News exclusively reported that the former High School Musical star completed a stint in a treatment facility about five months ago.

The actor posted a pic on his Instagram account of himself crouching in front of ancient ruins in Peru.

The caption for the snapshot read, "Hey guys! Just returned from an incredible trip to Peru with my dad and wanted to thank you all for your support these past few weeks...means the world to me. Love you guys!"

Efron was spotted on his backpacking trip earlier, and was seen happily posing for pictures with devoted fans.

The erstwhile Disney star caused a stir in the town of Cuzco, as admirers fawned over Efron's flawless appearance, while the Hollywood hottie was sporting a basic button down shirt and jeans.

"He's healthy, happy and not drinking," a source told E! News after the rehab revelation. "He's taking time to focus on working."

Efron's That Awkward Moment costar, Jessica Lucas, echoed the sources sentiments at the People Style Watch's "Hollywood Denim Party" presented by Gilt.com at the Palihouse in West Hollywood last night.

"He's great," the 27-year-old beauty gushed to E! News on the carpet when asked what it was like to work with the young heartthrob. "He's really nice, very charismatic, really down-to-earth, cool guy."

The upcoming comedy, which also stars Miles Teller and Michael B. Jordan, centers around a group of young guys who vow to stay single.

The raunchy flick is slated to hit theaters in January, and Jessica insists the "ladies will be very satisfied."
