Charlie Sheen's handlers insist that all is just fine with the "Two and a Half Men" star, despite swirling rumors that he's in an out-of-control spiral.

"I went over to Charlie's house earlier today because I was worried after reading Radar Online," an e-mail from Sheen's manager, Mark Burg, to his publicist said.  "Complete bullsh-- fabricated lies!!! Charlie was alone watching Brett Favre getting beat up by New England. He looked at me like I was nuts for coming into his house. 'Dude, you could have knocked' he said. Charlie is fine and will be at work on Tuesday ... Happy Halloween."

Okay, so they're the same folks that told us it was an adverse reaction medication that caused him to tear up a Manhattan hotel room while a porn star cowered in the bathroomon Oct. 26. Sheen was taken to a hospital for psychiatric observation and then released without charges. But a few days later, Radaronline reported that he was still living close to the edge.

Sheen's dad, actor Martin Sheen, is reportedly not assured. Sources close to him told the New York Post the family is planning an intervention with an eye toward getting Charlie out of Hollywood.

"You have to separate him from that environment, from the people he's been around," the source told the Post.
