Rahm Mulls Using Old Oprah Studios for Cultural Center

Mayor Rahm Emanuel is putting a "Rosie" spin on O'Donnell leaving Harpo Studios and (potentially) exiting Chicago.

Emanuel said Thursday he may consider tapping into the studios, vacated by talk-show host Oprah Winfrey last year, for use as an entertainment and cultural center.

No announcements were made as Emanuel answered questions Thursday during a mayors meeting in Chicago, but he made it known across the board the city has to "dream to do big things."

O'Donnell doesn't seem convinced.

She put her recently-purchased Lakeview home up for sale Monday and found a buyer within a day.

Last month she took a new focus and moved "The Rosie Show" to a smaller, more intimate studio. After five months in Chicago, reports on Wednesday indicated she's moving the show to New York.

So what's next for Harpo Studios? For now, Emanuel's plans are still in the works.
