Stiller Confirms “Zoolander 2” Is in the Pipeline

Settled down, folks. Your second helping of Blue Steel is on its way.

A week after a source has told Deadline Hollywood that Stiller is working on a new script with Justin Theroux -- who plans to "immerse himself on what is current in fashion" -- Derek Zoolander himself confirmed the rumors.

"Yes, it is true," Stiller told MTV. "We're in the process of getting a script written, so it's in the early stages. But yeah, it's going to happen."

As for the story, Stiller is inclined to get the old gang back together -- minus his roommates who died in that horrible gasoline fire.

"In the fashion world, if you go away for a year, it's changed -- it just happens so quickly," he said. "I think the idea in the beginning of the movie is that it's 10 years later, and Derek and Hansel [Owen Wilson's character] are literally forgotten. Nobody remembers who they are, so they have to reinvent themselves," before adding "If Will (Ferrell) says yes, he definitely has to be part of it," said the comedian. "To me, Mugatu is one of the classic screen villains of all time."
