Here's that trailer for "Last Night" you've all been dying to see. The film stars Sam Worthington and Keira Knightley as a New York City couple whose marriage is tested one fateful night when he goes out of town on business with the super sexy Eva Mendes. And wouldn't you know it, that very same night, while her hubbie's out of town, Knightley runs into an old flame, played by Guillaume Canet.
We're not exactly fans of Worthington, are perpetually on the fence about Knightley, have a deep abiding crush on Mendes and don't know Guillaume Canet well enough to have an opinion about him, so the cast isn't enough for us. The film was written and directed by Massy Tadjedin, best known for her script for "The Jacket," starring Adrien Brody.
The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and was well-received by most folks, including Brad Brevert at Ropes of Silicon, who gave it an A-, calling it "a stunning tale of fidelity and marital trust." We'll see once the film gets a US release date.
