Predicting the Chicago Bears is not an exact science. Jay Cutler could throw for 400 yards against the Seahawks, or he could be sacked six times. Lovie Smith could blow a goal-line call or he could dial up just the right game plan.
Really, it's anybody's guess. Luckily, Grizzly Detail has an informed staff here to provide you with some ideas on how to call the game. What follows is our staff predictions for the game.
Bears Win 27-24 -- Dave Breyer, Sports Producer:
"If the Bears don't manage to beat a sub .500 team at least once, they didn't deserve to be there in the first place."
Bears Win 31-14 --- Mike Adamle, Sports Anchor:
"Julius Peppers has two sacks and the Bears knock Matt Hasselback out of the game."
Bears Win 34-27 -- Maggie Hendricks, Grizzly Detail Blogger:
"Forte and Peppers will have big days and feed those birds some Alka-Seltzer."
Bears Win 31-14 -- Peggy Kusinski, Sports Reporter:
Defense wins championships!
Bears Lose 19-20 -- Geoff Glick, Executive Producer of Sports
"I just can't pick the Bears, if I did then they'd probably lose. It's all about the reverse jinx."
