Colder Than Normal Thanksgiving Set for Chicago Area

Thankfully, conditions will stay dry for the holiday

Expect a colder than usual Thanksgiving in the Chicago area this year.

With temperatures in the mid to upper 30s, and some spots reaching into the low 40s, the cold weather is expected to continue through Thursday before warmer conditions move in.

Thankfully, conditions will stay dry for the holiday, but expect partly-sunny skies.

Things turn warmer by Friday as temperatures rise into the mid to upper 40s. Rain showers are expected to develop by the late afternoon and evening and continue overnight.

Windy and milder conditions will continue through the weekend as highs stay in the upper 40s and low 50s.

Rain could begin mixing with snow later Sunday night and into Monday morning as highs return to the mid 30s.
