Chicago is set to see one more winter burst before things look to get better.

With Tuesday morning wind chills still reading below zero, temperatures will slowly climb through the week.

Wednesday will remain unseasonably cold, with highs in the mid- to upper-20s. Temperatures are set to rise Thursday to near 30 degrees, but light snow is expected to develop for the afternoon and evening hours.

The light snow will likely continue overnight, ending near dawn Friday and leaving behind potential accumulation. Anywhere from a dusting in northeast counties to up to 3 inches of snow in far southwest counties is possible.
