Not only is Derrick Rose continually working on his on-court skills, his shoe game appears to be on point as well.
His sponsor, adidas, released a new video Wednesday where Rose introduces his new adizero Rose 2.5 -- the shoe he'll be rockin' for the rest of the season.
But instead of the highly-produced commercial shot in a Spanish bull ring used to introduce the first version of the shoe, this video introduction is low-key, and features Rose on a couch giving the shoe his own review.
Rose's fourth signature shoe for adidas is touted as the lightest basketball sneaker available, weighing in at only 11 oz.
It also pays homage to his roots, with a satellite view of his Englewood neighborhood embossed in the toe box and upper.
The shoe will be available in home and away colors on February 2nd at Foot Locker, Eastbay and www.shopadidas.com for $110, and six more colors will be added through April.
