Sox-Guardians series opener postponed due to weather originally appeared on NBC Sports Chicago
Monday's White Sox-Guardians series opener has been postponed due to inclement weather in Cleveland.
The game has been rescheduled as part of a split doubleheader on July 12, with first pitch at 12:10 p.m. CT.
The second half of that doubleheader — the originally scheduled July 12 game — is scheduled for a 6:10 p.m. CT first pitch.
The two clubs have three more games scheduled this series. Tuesday's first pitch is set for 5:10 p.m. CT.
The Sox are coming off a series win over the Rays at Guaranteed Rate Field. They enter the series in Cleveland with a 6-3 record, first place in the AL Central.
