NBA players reacts to LaVine dropping 39 points in a half originally appeared on NBC Sports Chicago
Chicago Bulls star Zach LaVine was red-hot to open Friday night’s game against the Atlanta Hawks.
At the end of the first half, LaVine had 39 points. That’s the most points by any player in any half this season. And at one point he scored 25-straight Bulls points. And only two players have scored more in the first half since 1996.
LaVine’s career high is 49 points and he looks on pace to smash that mark.
And players around the NBA were taking notice.
LaVine definitely needs to go for 80 points tonight. Why not?
