Luka Dončić isn't coming. He's here.
Sunday evening, the second-year wunderkin dragged the Dallas Mavericks back from an, at one point, 21-point deficit to defeat the Los Angeles Clippers 135-133 in overtime, leveling their first-round series 2-2. With Kristaps Porziņģis out of the lineup, Dončić dropped 43 points, 17 rebounds and 13 assists, becoming the third player in NBA history to log a 40-15-10 triple-double in a postseason game. He is 21 years old. This is his first career playoff series. He played on a dinged up ankle.

Already, Dončić finds himself in rarified air. Per ESPN Stats & Info, the stepback 3 Dončić hit to win the contest marked only the second time in NBA history a player scored 40 or more points and ended the game with a buzzer-beater while trailing. The other? Michael Jordan.
So, yeah. To say Dončić is on an all-time trajectory might be putting it lightly.
