Chicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant and his wife Jessica are expecting their first child, the couple announced on Tuesday.

The Bryant’s, high school sweethearts who married in 2017, made the announcement via a video on Jessica’s Twitter account:

“Our journey is just beginning,” Jessica Bryant said.

According to the video, the couple’s son is due in April 2020, just in time for the Cubs to begin their regular season.
