The Chicago Cubs made another roster move Thursday, trading infielder Tommy La Stella to the Los Angeles Angels.
La Stella, who played for the past four seasons with the Cubs, batted .266 with one home run and 19 RBi in 192 plate appearances for the Cubs this season.
He also set the record for most pinch hits in a single season by a Cubs hitter, and was one of the league's most reliable reserve players as the Cubs won 95 games.
In exchange, the Cubs will receive cash considerations or a player to be named later.
