USPS Set to Hire Seasonal Help for Holidays

If you’re looking for a way to make some extra money over the holidays, the United States Postal Service is looking for you.

The service will begin accepting applications for seasonal mail handlers, support employees, and processing clerks on Saturday. The USPS says that new hires will be paid around $16-an-hour for their help during the holidays, and that start dates will be in mid-November.

Those jobs will last nearly two months, wrapping up after the holiday season in early-to-mid January.

According to the USPS, all applicants must be 18 years old, or be 16 and older with a high school diploma. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, and must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
