A Chicagoan who found woman’s ring in the snow near a downtown bus stop is on a mission to return it.
Liane Troy had just left the East Bank Club when she saw the ring in the snow. The retired teacher’s parents were in the jewelery business, she said. She knew the ring was important.
She asked around the neighborhood but no one knew who might own the gold band encrusted with diamonds.
Troy does not use social media, so she’s turned to local news outfits in hopes of getting the attention of the ring’s rightful owner.
The ring was found at the bus stop at Orleans and Hubbard.
