Family and friends are asking for assistance in finding a teenage girl who has been missing from the northwest suburbs for more than a week.
Kianna Galvin, 17, left her house in South Elgin around 12:30 p.m. on Friday, May 6, according to the South Elgin Police Department. Authorities said she told her sister she was going to Concord Park, located at 338 Valley Forge Ave, and would be back in a few hours.
She left her purse, wallet, and phone charger at home, according to her family, and has not been seen or heard from since.
Kianna has brown eyes, brown hair, stands 5'6" tall, and weighs 146 pounds. She has a tattoo of a heart, pulse sign, and cross on her left wrist.
Authorities are investigating, and anyone with information is asked to call the South Elgin police at (847) 741-2151.
