Suburban Woman Charged With Stealing $17K From Boy Scout Troop

A southwest suburban woman is charged with stealing more than $17,000 from a Plainfield Boy Scout troop.

Annette Eichorst, a former treasurer for Troop 19, stole the funds from a troop account between November 2010 and October 2013, Plainfield police claim.

In all, Eichorst took more than $17,000, authorities claim.

Eichorst, 50, of the 14000 block of South Astoria Court in Plainfield, is charged with two counts of felony theft, authorities said. She was released from custody after posting bail.
