Suburban Man Charged With Hiding Woman's Body After Overdose

A 21-year-old man has been charged with hiding the body of a woman who died of a drug overdose in his car in a wooded area in west suburban Aurora two months ago.

Bruno Muro was charged Monday with concealment of a homicidal death, according to a statement from Aurora police.

The body of 20-year-old Marisa MacDuff of Yorkville was discovered in a wooded area in the 900 block of North Lake Street in Aurora about 10:30 a.m. May 11, police said.

Muro drove MacDuff around the west suburb as she ingested illegal drugs, police said. But when she overdosed, he drove to the wooded area and put her body behind an abandoned business.

Muro was arrested after police received a tip from Aurora Area Crime Stoppers.

Muro, of the 300 block of Beach Street in Aurora, is being held at the Kane County Correctional Center on a $20,000 bond, police said.
