Two people were wounded in a shooting on the Dan Ryan Expressway late Saturday on Chicago's South Side.
The shooting happened about 10:30 p.m. in the inbound lanes of I-90/94 near 71st Street, according to Illinois State Police.
Two adults were shot and suffered injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening, police said. At least one person was being treated at St. Bernard Hospital, but additional details were not immediately available.
All inbound lanes of the expressway were temporarily closed in the area while police investigated the shooting. Everything was reopened to traffic by 3:45 a.m.
