Hospital and manufacturing trade groups are among the largest donors to Governor-Elect Bruce Rauner's transition and inauguration.
The committees overseeing transition and inaugural festivities released a list of donors late Saturday.
They include donations of up to $100,000 from the Illinois Manufacturers Association, Illinois Hospital Association, Foresight Energy Services and businessman David MacNeil, founder and CEO of Bolingbrook-based MacNeil Automotive Products Ltd.
Other contributors include a mix of trade organizations, private businesses, utilities, corporations and individuals.
Rauner says the committees both were funded entirely by the donations.
Rauner will attend a $1,000-a-person dinner at the Illinois Capitol Sunday night, and then he and other officeholders will be sworn in on Monday.
