Police Looking for Public's Help After Suburban Bank Robbery

Police are looking for the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a suburban bank on Friday afternoon.

The robbery occurred just before 5 p.m. at Deerfield Bank and Trust. According to police, the suspect took a slip of paper from a table in the bank and wrote “I need your money now!” and then handed it to the bank teller.

The teller complied with the robber’s demands, handing him an undetermined amount of money. The robber then fled the scene on foot.

Police say the man is in his mid-to-late 20’s, standing 5-foot-11 to 6-feet tall.
