Chicago police say a homeowner in the city’s Marquette Park neighborhood shot and killed a suspected burglar during a home invasion Sunday morning.
According to authorities, a man in his 40s was allegedly shot and killed by the homeowner inside a residence in the 7100 block of South Mozart at approximately 11:15 a.m.
Chicago police are continuing to investigate the incident, and no further information is available at this time.
