Photos Released of Lincoln Park Home Invasion Suspects

Chicago police have released new surveillance images of three suspects they say forced their way into a woman’s Lincoln Park apartment, where they beat and robbed her at gunpoint on Tuesday night.

According to police, the woman was in a residence in the 400 block of West Fullerton just after 9 p.m. when she heard a knock on the door. The woman unlocked the door and the three suspects rushed in, hit her multiple times in the head, and pointed a gun at her, police said.

The suspects stole cash and electronics from the woman before fleeing the scene, according to a community alert issued by police.

The suspects in the case are considered armed and dangerous.

One of the suspects is described as a man between the ages of 35 and 45, standing between 5-feet-4 inches and 5-feet-9 inches tall and wearing all black clothing. Another suspect is described as a man between the ages of 21 and 28 with thin build and wearing a white long-sleeve shirt.

Police say the third suspect is described as a woman between the ages of 26 and 28 with shaved hair on the sides of her head and braided hair on top. The woman was wearing a red hoodie with a black coat over it during the robbery.

The woman suffered injuries during the incident, and was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, police said.

Anyone with information on the identities of the suspects is encouraged to call Area North Detectives.

NOTE: In the original version of this story, police indicated that all three suspects were men. A correction was issued Thursday night as to the gender of the third suspect in the incident.
