From a family-friendly gathering at Millennium Park to a ticketed beach-centric party at the Corona Beach House and parties at Howells & Hood, Navy Pier and more, the map details all the action centered around Chi-Town Central along the Chicago River.
You can catch the star rising into the sky from Navy Pier at the 4th Annual Chicago Resolution Gala which will feature four DJs, 30 bars and a buffet. During the grand finale, synchronized fireworks will erupt across Chi-Town Central, showcasing the skyline, river and lakefront.
Keep warm and celebrate Chi-Town Rising from inside of Howells & Hood. The restaurant offers both seated and standing room tickets. Guests can enjoy hors d’oeuvres, and a champagne toast at midnight.
The Corona Beach House features DJs, multiple bars, and beach-inspired food. A portion of the proceeds will benefit first responder charities. This is a 21 and older event.
From 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., families can ring in the New Year using customs from around the world, including China, Italy, and Egypt at Chi-Town Rising's Family Countdown Celebration. The Millennium Park ice-skating rink will also be open on the evening with limited complimentary skate rental.
Thousands of party-goers can welcome in 2016 with cocktails, a buffet, hors d’oeuvres, champagne, DJs, live music, and confetti inside the Hilton Chicago at the New Year’s Eve Soiree.
For those who want to be in the middle of the action, Broadcast Blvd. is the place to be. The area has direct access to the Countdown Stage and musical performances.
Legendary rock band Chicago and alt-rock artists American Authors will headline Chi-Town Rising's Countdown Stage. The epic, first-of-its-kind New Year's Eve event will also feature a "visually spectacular countdown to 2016" and a major fireworks show, organizers said.
The event, presented by Corona Extra and hosted by Hyatt Gold Passport, will be held along the Chicago River between Michigan Avenue and Columbus Drive, with a Countdown Stage on the south side of the river and a midnight countdown featuring a giant Chicago star rising into the sky.
As the countdown begins, the star will ascend 36 stories up the Hyatt Regency Chicago's West Tower, culminating in the fireworks show.
The celebration will be televised live on NBC 5 and Telemundo Chicago beginning at 11 p.m. on Dec. 31.
