A man was critically wounded early Thursday after being shot in Chicago's River North neighborhood, police said.
The man, 30, was found at about 3:10 a.m. in the first block of West Illinois Street with gunshot wounds to the abdomen and torso, Chicago police said.
He was taken to a nearby hospital and last listed in critical condition.
No one was in custody, and area detectives are investigating.
