Lindsay Lohan is reaching out to a Chicago defense attorney for help staying out of jail.
The Sun-Times reports that Lohan personally called Stuart V. Goldberg, a Chicago-based attorney with a national reputation for winning tough cases.
But Lohan was already sentenced to 90 days in jail for breaking her parole. She's supposed to begin serving that sentence July 20 -- but it seems she'll do all she can to avoid it.
Goldberg told the paper Lohan is an "exquisite, flawed, broken woman-child." And he thinks he could keep her out of jail.
When asked whether Lohan would consider taking a reduced 30-day sentence, Goldberg said he didn't like "thinking jail time."
Goldberg said he hasn't been officially asked to represent Lohan, but he did spend about 7 hours talking to her and her family on the phone.
