No one was injured when a propane tank exploded on the roof of a building Thursday morning in the North Side Lakeview neighborhood.
The tank exploded about 11:20 a.m. on the roof of a building at 3500 N. Lake Shore Dr., according to Fire Media Affairs spokesman Quenton Curtis.
"It was a pretty good fire but it was contained to the roof," he said.
The fire was out about 30 minutes later.
