The Indiana Dunes beaches have made it to the Final Four in Coastal Living’s Best Beach in America contest.
The Indiana Dunes are up against Huntington Beach, California, Ocean City, New Jersey, and Tybee Island, Georgia.
The publication said it asked 30 coastal states in America to name their best beaches then asked voters to choose their favorites.
The Indiana Dunes previously defeated Gulf Shores, Ala., Grand Haven, Mich., and Fairport Harbor Lakefront Park, Ohio in the trek to the Final Four. The 15-mile stretch of shoreline including both the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore and Indiana Dunes State Park beaches represents the Indiana entry.
