Like many other 15-year-old girls, Charlotte Kloska, of Frankfort, loves horses and -- unlike the majority of them -- she's lucky enough to have one of her own.
Or rather, make that two of her own now -- thanks to a chance encounter Wednesday night.
That's when Charlotte found a stray horse wandering down Harlem Avenue near her home. Her mother let put the horse up for the night in the family garage.
On Thursday, animal care authorities found the horse's owner, who told them he could no longer care for the animal properly.
He offered it to Charlotte, who gladly accepted it and is currently working on a name.
