Multiple employees were terminated at a Milwaukee Popeyes after video surfaced last week showing them involved in a violent brawl while working.
The dramatic scene at the restaurant near 76th and Good Hope Road was captured on cell phone video by a customer Wednesday.
“I was going to go through the drive through, but the line had about seven or eight cars. So I took a peek in the lobby and there was maybe one customer so I parked, and went inside,” said Rich Fourte, who filmed the incident.
Fourte said he heard one employee shout “they’re back there fighting” before someone broke up the fight and another fight sparked.
“Once I saw that, that's when I decided to take my phone out,” Fourte said.
The group can be seen in the video screaming, shouting and hitting each other – some even tossing napkins and drink holders – as other employees attempt to break up the incident.
“It was really shocking. I had seen some of those other videos, but to actually witness it myself; It’s a sad situation, you know,” Fourte said.

Milwaukee police confirmed they were called to the location around 9:30 p.m. for a report of a subject with a weapon. They later determined no weapons were involved but “several individuals got into a physical altercation in the restaurant.”
When officers arrived, no one claimed to be a victim, however, police said.
Popeyes said the “behavior is clear against our expectations and standards.”
“The franchisee terminated the employees involved in the dispute and is reviewing additional actions to prevent this from happening again,” the restaurant’s statement read.
