Do You Know Your State's Favorite Jelly Bean Flavor?

The CandyStore site surveyed over 12,000 people and collected sales data over the span of a decade

A recent study reveals the most popular jelly bean flavors per state and Illinois’ top choice ranked #21 nationally.

In light of National Jelly Bean Day coming up on April 22, the CandyStore site said they surveyed over 12,000 people and collected sales data over the span of a decade to determine which jelly bean flavor people love the most.

Buttered Popcorn topped last years’ Black Licorice as the #1 most popular flavor across the U.S., out of 30 possible options.

“Thousands of people love this smooth, salty and savory jelly bean the best, while others scrunch up their noses when it’s mentioned,” CandyStore mentioned.

The state of Illinois, crowned Chocolate as its top choice, followed by Black Licorice as its second and Grape placed third.
