A portion of Illinois Route 47 near the city of Morris was closed while a crash investigation was conducted Friday afternoon.
The northbound and southbound lanes of Route 47 were shut down between Interstate 80 and Airport Road as of 1:25 p.m., according to the Total Traffic and Weather Network.
Additional information, including potential injuries or fatalities and the number of vehicles involved, wasn't immediately available.
