Chicago Firefighters Respond to Scaffolding Atop Building

The Chicago Fire Department responded to scaffolding atop a building in downtown Chicago Monday afternoon.

Sky 5 was over the scene which showed firefighters securing scaffolding about 4 p.m. at N. 201 Garland Court.

A fire official said one side of the scaffolding was not secured. Firefighters were waiting on a contractor to arrive to further secure the scaffolding.

No injuries were reported.

Police were blocking traffic at Lake Street and Wabash Avenue.
