    At some point, we're going to run out of superlatives for Chicago Cubs shortstop Javier Báez

    In the ninth inning of Saturday's game against the San Diego Padres, Wil Myers attempted to steal second base with one out on the board. 

    Despite a slightly high throw from catcher Victor Caratini, Báez (or El Mago, as he is rightfully called) made one of the most remarkable tags of his career: 

    The play wiped the tying run off the basepaths, and the Cubs eventually won a 6-5 decision at the Friendly Confines for their seventh victory in eight games
