A Peek Inside Design Agency’s VSA Partners’ Offices

You might not have ever heard of VSA Partners, but you've probably seen its work: The design agency has worked with everyone from Nike and IBM to McDonald's and Coca-Cola (oh, and 1871) to "produce results for some of the world's most respected, forward-thinking businesses." Companies like these tend to be a lot like foley artists in the movies: If they've done their job successfully, they've made things but better and more enjoyable to its audience, but also invisibly so that their handiwork isn't noticeable.

As such, their offices at 600 W. Chicago Ave. (a.k.a. the Groupon or Dyson building) don't disappoint. It's a designer's building for designers to make designs on designing in.

He was the Chicago city editor for The Onion A.V. Club where he provided in-depth daily coverage of this city's bustling arts/entertainment scene for half a decade. When not playing video games for work he's thinking of dashing out to Chicago Diner, Pizano's, or Yummy Yummy. His first career aspirations were to be a game-show host.
