Is Charlie Sheen, Once a Fictional Indians Pitcher, Headed to Cleveland for the World Series?

What does a Charlie Sheen checklist look like before heading to Cleveland for the last game of the World Series?

Cigarettes.

Beer.

Beef jerky.

Skull-and-crossbones adorned glasses.

It looks like Sheen might be headed to Game 7 in character as fictional Indian’s pitcher Rick “Wild Thing” Vaughn from the 1989 sports comedy “Major League.”

“My bag is packed, and help is on the way!!” Sheen tweeted Wednesday morning.

The Indians might have Sheen on their side, but Chicago’s no slouch when it comes to celebrity fans either—with many of them making the trek Cleveland to root for the Cubs.

Sheen, a self-proclaimed “#winner,” recently gave an interview to the Hollywood Reporter—something he seldom does—to talk baseball and a possible “Major League” remake.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Sheen said he didn’t want to “ruin any surprises,” but he would go to a game if he was invited.

"I had this crazy fantasy that they would play that ["Wild Thing" by The Troggs] song, the bullpen door would open, and I would do that long walk, which I think would have put that place on its freaking ear," Sheen told the Reporter.

Will Vaughn take the mound Wednesday night? Cleveland will know soon enough.

First pitch is scheduled for 7:08 p.m. CT.
